Perfect Day is the pioneer and leader in producing real dairy proteins, specifically whey, through precision fermentation, underpinned by strong intellectual property. The company was the first to receive FDA regulatory approval for the technology in 2020, cementing their early-mover advantage. Most recently, Perfect Day has broken ground on what will be the world's first dedicated precision fermentation dairy protein production facility in India, underscoring its continued ambition to lead and scale the category globally.

As a later-stage company in our portfolio, our engagement with Perfect Day has been more targeted than with some of our earlier-stage investments. Without a board seat, we've focused on where we can add the most value: leveraging our deep industry knowledge and network to help the company navigate a complex regulatory landscape and forge connections with strategic dairy partners across the globe.
