Why we backed them:
Pow’s continuous fermentation platform transforms biomanufacturing by achieving multi-fold increases in productivity and drastically lower costs. This unlocks a path for alternative proteins and other bio-based products to reach cost parity with conventional products, addressing the field’s biggest bottleneck: cost.
How Synthesis engaged:
Synthesis joined Pow.Bio’s journey in 2025. Since our initial investment, we’ve taken an active role advising on industrial partnerships and commercialisation. This support helped Pow.bio validate its continuous fermentation platform at 3,000L scale and to secure its first major customer agreements.
